Monster 18 GPM Industrial Pump - 1.5hp, 120/230V 60HZ

The Monster 18 GPM Industrial Pump is built for hose reel applications and continuous-duty industrial transfer where flow can drop to zero before the pump shuts off. The 43 PSI internal pressure relief valve protects the pump and system when the hose reel closes or flow is blocked — a critical feature for any installation where the pump runs unattended or flow is intermittently interrupted.

Most gear pumps are unregulated — if flow stops while the pump is running, pressure builds until something fails. The W2087 addresses this with a factory-set 43 PSI relief valve that bypasses fluid internally when system pressure exceeds the threshold. This makes it the right choice for hose reel dispensing systems, automated transfer lines, and any application where the operator may close the nozzle before switching off the pump. At 18 GPM with a 1.5HP Baldor motor, it also delivers serious throughput for high-volume industrial environments.

Pressure Relief — Built for Hose Reel Use

The 43 PSI pressure relief valve is factory-set and integral to the pump assembly. When downstream flow is restricted or stopped, the valve opens and recirculates fluid internally, protecting the pump, motor, and connected hoses from overpressure. This is not a field-adjustable feature — it is a fixed protection threshold suited to standard hose reel and dispensing applications.

The Pumphead

Cast-iron positive displacement gear pumphead with helical-cut steel gears. Self-priming, pulseless fluid transfer. Viton seals for compatibility with vegetable oils, motor oils, gear oils, and light to medium viscosity industrial fluids.

US-Made Baldor industrial motor, 1.5HP, 120/230V 60HZ, NEMA 56C frame.
