Centrifuge Bolt-On Heater 120V/240V

The WVO Designs bolt on heater warms the oil on its way into the centrifuge, and thinner oil releases its water and dirt far more readily. Faster batches, cleaner results, and the same performance in January as in July.

Why it works

Cold oil is thick, and thick oil holds onto contaminants. Dropping the viscosity lets the bowl throw out water and fine particles that would otherwise ride through. Because the heater is thermostatically controlled, you clean at a constant temperature no matter what the shop thermometer says, which takes the biggest variable out of the process. We recommend at least 150°F for best results.

It is also efficient by design. You heat only the oil entering the centrifuge rather than your whole feedstock tank, so the power goes exactly where the cleaning happens.
