Updated Centrifuge Seal Kit
This is an updated shaft seal which will prevent any leaking from the shaft into the motor. Sometimes customers have reported oil leaking past the centrifuge housing into the top of the motor. This can eventually seep into the motor, causing the need for an early bearing replacement. We have a solution! Our new seal kit is here.
-Consists of
- (2) Seals
- (1) Aluminum bushing
- (2) Set screws
- *Inside filled with grease to prevent leaking. Grease not included.
Automatically Included with new centrifuge purchases
Works with top mounted seals, that are pressed into the top of the centrifuge housing/casting. Legacy centrifuges (3+ years old) need to have the casting upgraded. Call or email with questions.
